How will the Greek financial crisis affect travel and costs for vacations to Greece?

I was planning on honeymooning in Greece this September, but their financial issues have me rethinking my plans. Will things cost outrageous amounts? Will they be cheaper than before? Will hotels be cheap and cabs and restaurants outrageous?

How exactly will all of Greece's financial problems affect tourists like us??|||Most of embassies advise people not to travel to destinations like Greece, Mogadishu or Bangkok in such times, and is the possibility the situation might escalate and occupy the airport in order to make their voices heard. I would suspect the islands might not be affected as in Athens for example, however it always takes a small group people with 'problems' to affect the tourists' life.

Keep an eye on the news and Home office web site.|||You can find good deals through the internet or your tour operator. Hotels and restaurants are already cheaper and/or make offers to their clients. You will also be safe (you could only avoid the big cities during riots). The financial crisis does not affect travelers. It only affects Greek citizens for now.|||The prices will be cheaper than ever. Specifically in September which is considered as low season , prices will be hammered.

Enjoy your honeymoon in beautiful Greece|||of course everything will be cheaper, foods, hotels, beaches, hell even people will be cheaper if you know the right place.|||Our anarchist and our police are killng each other

Our society is divided... some Greeks support police, others support anarchist

Yunanistan is in civil war !!!|||Our former pride women now are offering for one euro only ! Instead of 30 euro like before ! Crisis !|||Greks are out of mind ! Chaos !
